Using Economic Value for Prioritization: Cost of Delay and CD3
In this talk we will explain the benefits of using Cost of Delay and how to calculate it using its four components. Attendees will learn the importance of making assumptions visible and how to have conversations about those assumptions. This is often the most valuable aspect of this technique.
We will explain how to account for the different sizes or costs of delivering a project. We will conclude by contrasting this to techniques that use relative value as opposed to actual dollar value.
